Planning Commission
The Mount Joy Borough Planning Commission will hold its regular meetings at 7:00 PM on the Second Thursday of the month. All regular meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers of the Borough Municipal Building, 21 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552. Please check the calendar on the home page for additional meetings that may have been scheduled.

NOTE: If you wish to submit plans for the Planning Commission to act upon, the following guidelines need to be followed:
1. Deadline: 4th Thursday of the month prior to meeting.
2. Items include, but are not limited to Land development plans, extension of time, zoning text and map changes, land development ordinance changes, & all other items to come before the Planning Commission.
3. Land Development (including Subdivision) Plan Applications:

Two sets of larger plan sheets, including the application form, project narrative, each study, & report.

Fold all larger documents to fit into an 8.5 inch by 11 inch folder.

Include at least one set of 11 inch by 17 inch plan sheets.

Provide one digital copy of each plan sheet & document submitted on compact disc in PDF format or equivalent.

One copy of plans & documents to Attorney, Josele Cleary (Morgan Hallgren, Crosswell, & Kane, PO Box 4686, 700 North Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17604-4684), & Darrell Becker (ARRO, 270 Granite Run Dr, Lancaster, PA 17601) before the application is submitted to the Borough.
